Sharpe Ratio

The Sharpe ratio measures how much return you're getting for the risk you're taking, relative to a risk-free asset like Treasury bills. A higher Sharpe ratio means better risk-adjusted performance. A ratio above 1.0 is generally considered good, above 2.0 is very good. It helps you compare portfolios or funds on an apples-to-apples basis.
